Prof. Shishir Kumar Jha is an Associate professor at Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, IIT Bombay. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration and International Relations, and a PhD in Political Science from Syracuse University. He is Acting - PI for MHRD IPR Chair at IIT Bombay.
Prof. Jha served as the Project lead for Creative Commons India (from 2005-2009) – advancing the cause of CC as a viable alternative to copyright. His teaching and research interests include Theorizing and analyzing sustainable and democratic alternatives of globalization, Copyright and the Public Domain, Geo-Political Environment and International Business, Comparative Impact of Globalization, Impact Of Globalization On Indian Society, WTO and Global Political Economy, Indian Society and Political Economy of the Third World, International Relations. He is on the editorial board for International journal of Indian culture and business management (IJICBM) Past president of Academy of International business: India Chapter (AIB – India) & Member of the Academy of Management.
