                 Ms. Gargi Chakrabarti is Assistant Professor in Faculty of Law. She holds B.Sc. and LL.B. from University of Calcutta and LL.M. in International and Comparative Intellectual Property Law from London Metropolitan University, London, UK in 2007. She is awarded her M.Phil. in Intellectual Property Law in 2011 from National Law School of India University, Bangalore, and now she is pursuing her Ph.D. in Intellectual Property Law from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. She has more than five years teaching experience in India and UK; she has more than two years research experience in MHRD Chair on IPR, National Law School, Bangalore; her arena of teaching and research includes Intellectual Property Law, Competition Law, Environment Law and Cyber Law. She has organised, participated and presented papers in several national and international conferences including International Conference on Management of Intellectual Property Rights and Strategy MIPS 2012 and 9th & 10th ASLI Annual Conference. She has written 11 Units of course content on International and Comparative IP Law, Advanced IP Issues and Farmers? Rights for Masters in Intellectual Property Law (MIPL) of Indira Gandhi National Open University, India in collaboration with Queensland University, Australia; also written Unit of Trademark and GI for the course of PGDIPR, National Law School India University, Bangalore. She also has books (Chapters) published by national and international publishers. She is an active Member of group of Indian and international IP teachers, participated in Workshop for Innovations in Indian IP Teaching and Research, and working for innovation in IP teaching in India.
